To work in us

Realign us

So that we may know

Your in our lives

Your joy, your peace, your Shalom

The Lord’s Prayer in our own language

Reading Acts 16v6-10

They passed through the [c]Phrygian and Galatian region, having been forbidden by the Holy Spirit to speak the word in [d]Asia; and after they came to Mysia, they were trying to go into Bithynia, and the Spirit of Jesus did not permit them;and passing by Mysia, they came down to Troas. A vision appeared to Paul in the night: a man of Macedonia was standing and appealing to him, and saying, “Come over to Macedonia and help us.” 10 When he had seen the vision, immediately we sought to [e]go into Macedonia, concluding that God had called us to preach the gospel to them.

Our Prayers

We pray for people and situations we are concerned about including the ongoing unrest after the murder of George Floyd and now other deaths, the continuing deaths from Covid 19, the government, the lockdown easing in schools, key workers, PPE, and protection for BME people, people on low or no incomes, those with underlying health conditions and those over 60, care for those who are alone and those suffering with depression and ensuring food is reaching the vulnerable.

Ending with…May we not fail them Amen

Closing Responses

This is the day that God has made

We will rejoice and be glad in it

We will not offer to God

Offerings that cost us nothing

We will go in Peace

To love and serve the Lord

Amen
