20 You sit and testify against your brother
and slander your own mother’s son.

you thought I was exactly like you.
But I now arraign you
and set my accusations before you.
We pray for all those we know who need our help and prayers who we carry in our hearts today. For Afghans, especially the women, for Syria, Hong Kong, Belarus, Ethiopia, Yemen, Gaza, our burning world and those dealing with the fires, for politicians to act on climate change, for all with Covid today and their families, doctors and nurses, carers, teachers, those confronting injustice, for the many refugees, our country, our families and friends and ourselves.
