Reading Psalm 49
But God will redeem me from the realm of the dead;
he will surely take me to himself.
16 Do not be overawed when others grow rich,
when the splendour of their houses increases;
17 for they will take nothing with them when they die,
their splendour will not descend with them.
18 Though while they live they count themselves blessed—
and people praise you when you prosper—
19 they will join those who have gone before them,
who will never again see the light of life.
20 People who have wealth but lack understanding
are like the beasts that perish.
We pray for all those we know who need our help and prayers who we carry in our hearts today. For those who cant afford fuel, food or housing, for those on strike, those suffering in the heatwaves and fires, for Palestine and Gaza, Ukraine, Russia, Myanmar, Hong Kong, India, Myanmar, the Rohingyas, the Uyghurs, Belarus, Iran, the US, Afghanistan, the UK, our own country, doctors and nurses, carers, teachers, those confronting injustice, and pressing issues of climate change, for the millions of refugees, our own families, friends and ourselves…Spirit of the Living God present with us now enter our bodies, minds and spirits and heal us of all that harms us. Let your angels be beside us at this time. Amen

Für diejenigen, die sich Treibstoff, Nahrung oder Unterkunft nicht leisten können, für diejenigen, die streiken, die unter Hitzewellen und Bränden leiden, für Palästina und Gaza, die Ukraine, Russland, Myanmar, Hongkong, Indien, Myanmar, die Rohingyas, die Uiguren, Weißrussland, Iran, die USA, Afghanistan, Großbritannien, unser eigenes Land, Ärzte und Krankenschwestern, Betreuer, Lehrer, diejenigen, die mit Ungerechtigkeit und drängenden Problemen des Klimawandels konfrontiert sind, für die Millionen von Flüchtlingen, unsere eigenen Familien, Freunde und uns selbst … Spirit of the Der lebendige Gott, der mit uns gegenwärtig ist, tritt jetzt in unseren Körper, Verstand und Geist ein und heilt uns von allem, was uns schadet. Lass deine Engel in dieser Zeit bei uns sein. Amen
