Jeremiah 11
This is the word that came to Jeremiah from the Lord:2 “Listen to the terms of this covenant and tell them to the people of Judah and to those who live in Jerusalem. 3 Tell them that this is what the Lord, the God of Israel, says: ‘Cursed is the one who does not obey the terms of this covenant—4 the terms I commanded your ancestors when I brought them out of Egypt, out of the iron-smelting furnace.’ I said, ‘Obey me and do everything I command you, and you will be my people, and I will be your God.5 Then I will fulfil the oath I swore to your ancestors, to give them a land flowing with milk and honey’—the land you possess today.”
We pray for peace in Gaza, for Israeli hostages, for peace in Ukraine, Russia, for Lebanon, Syria, Afghanistan, Iran, Yemen, for Hong Kong, China; for work to halt climate change, for the 100 million people who are refugees or asylum seekers, for the homeless, the hungry, the distressed. We pray for all who are anxious. Give them your peace and calm in their hearts. Have your hand upon us, our homes and our loved ones. Be with us all we pray this day and every day. Amen.

Jérémie 11
Voici la parole qui fut adressée à Jérémie par le Seigneur :2 « Écoutez les termes de cette alliance et dites-les aux habitants de Juda et à ceux qui habitent à Jérusalem. 3 Dis-leur que voici ce que dit l'Éternel, le Dieu d'Israël : Maudit soit celui qui n'obéit pas aux termes de cette alliance, 4 les termes que j'ai prescrits à vos ancêtres lorsque je les ai fait sortir d'Egypte, du pays. fournaise de fonte de fer.' J'ai dit : 'Obéissez-moi et faites tout ce que je vous commande, et vous serez mon peuple, et je serai votre Dieu.5 Alors j'accomplirai le serment que j'ai juré à vos ancêtres, de leur donner un terre où coulent le lait et le miel, la terre que vous possédez aujourd'hui.

Soyez avec nous tous ce que nous prions aujourd'hui et tous les jours. Amen.
