We call on the power of God
To meet us in our helplessness
God in our thinking
God in our speaking
We call on the clarity of God
To meet us in our confusion
We call on the mercy of God
To meet us in our brokenness
God in our meeting, God in our parting.
We say the Lords Prayer in our own language
Reading Psalm 6
Lord, do not rebuke me in your anger
or discipline me in your wrath.
2 Have mercy on me, Lord, for I am faint;
heal me, Lord, for my bones are in agony.
3 My soul is in deep anguish.
How long, Lord, how long?
4 Turn, Lord, and deliver me;
save me because of your unfailing love.
We pray for peace in Gaza, for Israeli hostages, for peace in Ukraine, for Russia, for work to halt climate change, for the 100 million people who are displaced wandering around the globe looking for a new home and grieving the loss of their homeland, for the homeless, the hungry, the distressed. May God’s hand be upon us in these difficult times, your angels protect us and the Holy Spirit work in and around us. Amen

This is the day that God has made
We will rejoice and be glad in it
We will not offer to God offerings that count as nothing
Go in peace to love and serve the Lord
We will seek peace and pursue it. Amen
