23 I am always with you; you hold me by my right hand.
24 You guide me with your counsel, and afterward you will take me into glory.
25 Whom have I in heaven but you? And earth has nothing I desire besides you.
We pray for people and situations that are on our hearts today ...
For Afghanistan, Hong Kong, Taiwan, Belarus, Ukraine, Syria, Ethiopia, for people who are lonely, for staff in hospitals and care homes, for people suffering from war, for people in prisoned, for people suffering because of climate change, for the vulnerable in this Covid time and those sick and dying, for the homeless in our country and those far from home, for our government to rule justly, for asylum seekers and refugees the world over, and finally for our children and grandchildren who we must give a better future. In Jesus name we pray,
May we not fail you though we face great dangers.
Give us your peace, your wisdom and your strength. Amen
Take us to Bethlehem
House of bread
Where the empty are filled
The poor find riches
And the rich recognise their poverty
Where all kneel, worship
And are fed.
