Do not get upset because of evildoers,
Do not be envious of wrongdoers.
2 For they will wither quickly like the grass,
And decay like the green plants.
3 Trust in God and do good;
Live in the land and cultivate faithfulness.
4 Delight yourself in the Lord;
And God will give you the desires of your heart.
5 Commit your way to God,
Trust also in Him, and He will do it.
6 He will bring out your righteousness as the light,
And your judgment as the noonday.
We pray for all those we know who need our help and prayers who we carry in our hearts today.
For the families of refugees killed in the Mediterranean, for Ukraine and Russia, for Israel and Palestine, Sudan, Yemen, Hong Kong, Eritrea, Syria, our own country, for those confronting injustice, and pressing issues of climate change, for those who are distraught, for the many refugees throughout the world, for those on strike, for the homeless, our families and friends and ourselves…Spirit of the Living God present with us now enter our bodies, minds and spirits and heal us of all that harms us. Let your angels be beside us at this time. In Jesus Name we pray.
