Acts 17
When Paul and his companions had passed through Amphipolis and Apollonia, they came to Thessalonica, where there was a Jewish synagogue. 2 As was his custom, Paul went into the synagogue, and on three Sabbath days he reasoned with them from the Scriptures, 3 explaining and proving that the Messiah had to suffer and rise from the dead.“This Jesus I am proclaiming to you is the Messiah,” he said.4 Some of the Jews were persuaded and joined Paul and Silas, as did a large number of God-fearing Greeks and quite a few prominent women.
We pray for Israel to stop killing Palestinians and for aid to get through without more deaths, for Israel, for the US, for Russia to stop bombing Ukraine, for Sudan, Iran, for Israeli hostages and their families, for Russia, for Lebanon, Syria, Afghanistan, Yemen, Taiwan, China, for Hong Kong; for work to halt climate change, refugees and asylum seekers, for the homeless, the hungry, the distressed. Spirit of the Living God be beside us at this time. In Jesus Name we pray. Amen

هنگامی که پولس و همراهانش از آمفیپولیس و آپولونیا عبور کردند، به تسالونیکی رسیدند، جایی که یک کنیسه یهودی وجود داشت. ۲ پولس طبق رسم خود، به کنیسه رفت و در سه روز سبت با آنها از کتاب مقدس استدلال کرد، ۳ و توضیح داد و ثابت کرد که مسیح باید رنج بکشد و از مردگان برخیزد. او گفت: «این عیسی که من به شما اعلام میکنم، مسیح است.» ۴ برخی از یهودیان متقاعد شدند و به پولس و سیلاس پیوستند، همچنین تعداد زیادی از یونانیان خداترس و تعداد زیادی از زنان برجسته نیز به آنها پیوستند.
ما برای اسرائیل دعا میکنیم که کشتار فلسطینیان را متوقف کند و کمکها بدون مرگ بیشتر انجام شود، برای اسرائیل، برای ایالات متحده، برای روسیه دعا میکنیم که بمباران اوکراین را متوقف کند، برای سودان، ایران، برای گروگانهای اسرائیلی و خانوادههایشان، برای روسیه، برای لبنان، سوریه، افغانستان، یمن، تایوان، چین، برای هنگ کنگ؛ برای تلاش برای متوقف کردن تغییرات اقلیمی، پناهندگان و پناهجویان، برای بیخانمانها، گرسنگان، پریشانبختان. روح خدای زنده در این زمان در کنار ما باشد. به نام عیسی دعا میکنیم. آمین
