Our Prayers for our world
The sea roars with the grief because of all the plastic that fills it, the pain of
of the destruction of coral reef.
The fields exclaim despair
for delayed rains and prolonged drought for species extinction on a daily basis.
No song of joy rings out from the trees of the forest decimated by forest fires.
How long O God, we plead to you, for leaders to act and move us to act with urgency. Amen
We pray for Palestinians and families of Israeli hostages, for Ukrainians and Russia, for Lebanon, for Jamaica, Sudan, for Congo and all places where there is war. We pray for peace makers and humanitarian corridors, for the children and the terrified and for people of good will to work together to change the world. …Spirit of the Living God present with us now enter our bodies, minds and spirits and heal us of all that harms us. Let your angels be beside us at this time. Amen
