Psalm 78
For He established a testimony in Jacob,
And appointed a law in Israel,
Which He commanded our fathers
That they were to teach them to their children,
6 So that the generation to come would know, the children yet to be born,
That they would arise and tell them to their children,
7 So that they would put their confidence in God
And not forget the works of God,
But comply with His commandments,
8 And not be like their fathers,
A stubborn and rebellious generation,
A generation that did not prepare its heart
And whose spirit was not faithful to God.

For the over a million refugees worldwide, for people who are homeless, hungry, persecuted, for those who fight for the earth and for justice for its people, May we not fail you though we face great dangers. Give us your peace, wisdom and strength. Amen

Pois Ele estabeleceu um testemunho em Jacó,

A qual ordenou aos nossos pais
Que eles as ensinassem aos seus filhos,
6 Para que a geração vindoura soubesse, os filhos ainda por nascer,
Que eles se levantassem e as contassem aos seus filhos,
7 Para que eles colocassem sua confiança em Deus
E não se esquecessem das obras de Deus,
Mas cumprissem Seus mandamentos,

Uma geração obstinada e rebelde,
