God has called us
To celebrate Gods presence
In our lives and the world
To love and serve others
To seek justice and resist the destructive
To live the life of Christ
By the presence of Gods Spirit within us

Loving God
Come into our confused and troubled lives
Send your Spirit
To work in us
Realign us
So that we may know
You in our lives
Your joy, your peace, your Shalom
We say the Lord’s Prayer in our own language
Reading Acts 11
27 During this time some prophets came down from Jerusalem to Antioch. 28 One of them, named Agabus, stood up and through the Spirit predicted that a severe famine would spread over the entire Roman world. (This happened during the reign of Claudius.) 29 The disciples, as each one was able, decided to provide help for the brothers and sisters living in Judea. 30 This they did, sending their gift to the elders by Barnabas and Saul.
We pray for all those we carry in our hearts. We pray for peace in all countries with war including Gaza and Ukraine, for elections in the US and in France, Iran, Afghanistan, Sudan, Ethiopia, Myanmar, for those working for justice and relief of poverty, for work to halt climate change, for the 100 million people who are refugees or asylum seekers, for the homeless, the hungry, the distressed. Spirit of the Living God be beside us at this time. In Jesus Name we pray. Amen
In the depth of silence
No words are needed
We are just called to listen
To the movement of the Spirit
And in the midst of confusion
To hear your voice. Amen
