For morning Light
We humbly thank you
And offer our praise to you
Open our hearts and our minds 
Give us your presence
In our life today

Acts 16
 
¹³ On the Sabbath we went outside the city gate to the river, where we expected to find a place of prayer. We sat down and began to speak to the women who had gathered there.¹⁴ One of those listening was a woman from the city of Thyatira named Lydia, a dealer in purple cloth. She was a worshiper of God. The Lord opened her heart to respond to Paul’s message.¹⁵ When she and the members of her household were baptized, she invited us to her home. “If you consider me a believer in the Lord,” she said, “come and stay at my house.” And she persuaded us.
 
We pray for Israel to stop killing Palestinians and for aid to get through without more deaths, for Israel, for the US, for Russia to stop bombing Ukraine, for Sudan, Iran, for Israeli hostages and their families, for Russia, for Lebanon, Syria, Afghanistan, Yemen,Taiwan, China, for Hong Kong; for work to halt climate change, refugees and asylum seekers, for the homeless, the hungry, the distressed. Spirit of the Living God be beside us at this time. In Jesus Name we pray. Amen

13 No sábado, saímos do portão da cidade, para o rio, onde esperávamos encontrar um lugar de oração. Sentamo-nos e começamos a falar com as mulheres que estavam reunidas ali. 14 Uma das que nos ouviam era uma mulher da cidade de Tiatira, chamada Lídia, vendedora de tecido de púrpura. Ela era temente a Deus. O Senhor abriu o seu coração para responder à mensagem de Paulo. 15 Quando ela e os membros da sua casa estavam Batizada, ela nos convidou para sua casa. "Se vocês me consideram uma crente no Senhor", disse ela, "venham e fiquem em minha casa". E ela nos convenceu.
 
Oramos para que Israel pare de matar palestinos e para que a ajuda chegue sem mais mortes; por Israel, pelos EUA, para que a Rússia pare de bombardear a Ucrânia; pelo Sudão, pelo Irã, pelos reféns israelenses e suas famílias; pela Rússia, pelo Líbano, pela Síria, pelo Afeganistão, pelo Iêmen, por Taiwan, pela China, por Hong Kong; por trabalho para deter as mudanças climáticas; pelos refugiados e requerentes de asilo; pelos desabrigados, pelos famintos e pelos aflitos. O Espírito do Deus Vivo esteja ao nosso lado neste momento. Em nome de Jesus, oramos. Amém.

۱۳ در روز سبت، از دروازه شهر به سمت رودخانه رفتیم، جایی که انتظار داشتیم مکانی برای دعا پیدا کنیم. نشستیم و با زنانی که در آنجا جمع شده بودند، شروع به صحبت کردیم. ۱۴ یکی از کسانی که گوش می‌داد، زنی از شهر طیاتیرا به نام لیدیه بود، فروشنده پارچه‌های ارغوانی. او خداپرست بود. خداوند قلب او را گشود تا به پیام پولس پاسخ دهد. ۱۵ هنگامی که او و اعضای خانواده‌اش تعمید گرفتند، او دعوت کرد ما را به خانه‌اش برد. او گفت: «اگر من را مؤمن به خداوند می‌دانید، بیایید و در خانه من بمانید.» و ما را متقاعد کرد.
 
ما برای اسرائیل دعا می‌کنیم که کشتار فلسطینی‌ها را متوقف کند و کمک‌ها بدون مرگ و میر بیشتر انجام شود، برای اسرائیل، برای ایالات متحده، برای روسیه که بمباران اوکراین را متوقف کند، برای سودان، ایران، برای گروگان‌های اسرائیلی و خانواده‌هایشان، برای روسیه، برای لبنان، سوریه، افغانستان، یمن، تایوان، چین، برای هنگ کنگ؛ برای تلاش برای متوقف کردن تغییرات اقلیمی، پناهندگان و پناهجویان، برای بی‌خانمان‌ها، گرسنگان، پریشان‌بختان. روح خدای زنده در این زمان در کنار ما باشد. به نام عیسی دعا می‌کنیم. آمین
